Actually, no! Queenie Connects is a social community for singles, NOT a dating group. While quite a bit of dating happens, as you can imagine in a group filled with singles, many are here just to build their community and make single friends! Whether you're here for romance, friendship, or just a reason to get out of the house, we have a place for you here at Queenie Connects
Our mission is to combat loneliness by fostering a community where singles can forge meaningful connections and build lasting relationships through engaging group meetups. This group is about connecting with other singles in, low pressure group meetups, that are in similar life circumstances.
We do a wide range! From game nights at a brewery to nature hikes, to checking out the hottest new cocktail lounge to pickleball, we do it all! We have meetups that are family friendly, free, sober, day trips, active, quiet and intimate, party, dance, and more! We do large and small group events. Our goal is to appeal to the interests of all singles.
At this point, we do not perform background checks and urge members to thoroughly vet any members they are considering a relationship with or meeting privately. However, we do weed out members that don’t live in Washington or Benton County (no people that are just in town for the night, or driving through!), those that aren’t single, and work hard to prevent spammers or scammers by individually accepting or declining each applicant.
Our members are SINGLE (yes, we allow those that are in the process of, but haven't completed, their divorce) , live in WASHINGTON or BENTON COUNTY, AR, and are between the ages of 22-64.
Absolutely! While we are NOT a dating group, this is a group where singles connect! Despite our emphasis on friendship with no pressure to date (or perhaps because of it!) we have made over 30 successful couples, just in the first 6 months!
Some members are actively seeking a long term relationship, but some are just here for friends. Everything in between, as well.
I know, I know. But we get asked so much, that we had to address it, it is our most frequently asked question. Absolutely not!!! We’re simply singles that hang out and do fun meetups together in public places!
Yes! We strive to create positive, uplifting and encouraging connections between any and all singles. We have "interest connections" meetups, where people who have particular interests in common, are able to meet and connect based upon those interests/beliefs.
Initially, the group was completely and totally free! But, in the first four months, our creator Queenie Be had spend thousands out of her personal savings to keep connecting singles. Sadly, this was not sustainable. Therefore, the decision was made to turn this into a subscription group. We strive to keep this as low in price as possible and hope that you truly get a bang for your buck with meetups EVERY SINGLE DAY!
Unfortunately, we remain a small volunteer run business. We are unable to offer free trials at this time.
